The role of the mystery shopper is to go to a specialty store and to get a consultation as an interested customer. During the course of the consultation, specific criteria (which are defined before) are taken into consideration (eg. Have you been actively greeted or spoken to? Did you find the consultation competent and customer-oriented?). After the consultation the observations are written down and evaluated in a survey.
Important abilities for a mystery shopper are accuracy, good spelling and an observant nature. The payment is oriented on working time per assignment.
